Follow Me Friday – It’s Not All About the Weight!

My first official Follow Me Friday of 2016.
I have worked so hard this week,
no cheating,
getting in some really good workouts,
and drinking all my water.
If you remember last week I was 154.8 lbs.
This week,
people have made comments of how they can see my body shrinking.
I have been able to see it in the mirror.
I was so excited to get on the scale.
I knew it would be good.
I was absolutely disappointed
when I got on the scale 
and I had gained 1.4 lbs.
How could that be!
How was I going to share that on my blog!
Thank heavens that I had taken my measurements!
I quickly got out the measuring tape,
and checked my measurements,
I had lost an entire inch 
from my waist during the previous week and a half!
It isn’t only about the weight! 
Please remember that! 
It is so easy to get discouraged when the scale
doesn’t move!
From experience,
make sure that you are taking measurements!
You will be pleasantly surprised.

i can take time for me, that is okay
i am beautiful, inside and out
i CAN find time to eat a healthy balanced diet
i am not less of a person if my house is messy
i can do anything i put my mind to
