Follow Me Friday! Week 12 Weigh In!

Week 12!!!
I really don’t think that I 
have followed any diet
in my whole life
this strictly
for this long.

It actually feels really good.
I feel very in control.

This week I lost 0.9 lbs.
That is the lowest amount so far.
The thing that amazes me
is that I have not cheated.
I do not even lick my fingers
when I get the kids nutella on my fingers.
But still, 
my body calls the shots. 
It decides what to lose.
I will just keep going and love how I feel!

Even though I feel in control
I do not feel immune to sugar cravings.

This week
I happen to vent to my sister 
about my serious sugar craving that I was having.
She jumped for joy
because she thought I was super amazing
and didn’t even crave sugar.

I do have cravings.
This week happen to be a tough week.
The cravings were so strong.
One of the days
I treated myself to a 
It really hit the spot.

Again I felt weakened by the 
desire to eat sugar today!
First off
I ate proteins to help me feel full.
That often helps with a sugar craving.
When even that wasn’t working,
I told my hubby I was struggling
and I was heading outside to weed.
He came outside with me 
and we ended up spending 3 hours outside.
I was distracted from the craving
as I was so determined to 
finish weeding and dead heading the whole yard.

So the moral of the story
even after 12 weeks of super clean eating
cravings creep up
and we need to be prepared to 
withstand them.
Find a healthy replacement
or distract yourself!

i CAN find time to eat a healthy balanced diet
i am not less of a person if my house is messy
i can do anything i put my mind to
