Follow Me Friday! Week 11 Weigh In!

March 20, 2015

11 weeks down!
After this long
I am forming new habits
in my
relationship with food.

This week I lost 1.8 lbs!
That makes a total of 39.1 lost since January
a total loss of 112.1 lbs from my highest!

I currently
weigh less than
I ever have in my grown up life!
The lowest I’ve weighed in my married life
is 175 lbs!

It is quite a new experience for me!

Being down almost 40 lbs
people are beginning to really notice.
My clothes are fitting so different.

My cute sister loves to clean out her closet
and called my recently
to come over and try on some of her
hand me downs.
I’ll be honest,
her hand me downs are pretty awesome
cause she sure loves to shop.

she had some size 10 jeans
that she wanted me to try on.
I told her there is no way that I can fit those.
January of 2014
I was wearing a size 22!
Yikes..can you believe how honest I am!
She forced me to try them on :)!
And they fit!!
Not every pair of 10’s fit
but it almost brought me to tears!
Tears of Joy!

It came on the afternoon
of a very hard day!
I didn’t want to go try on clothes.
But my sister so lovingly forced me too!
It was just what I needed.

A dose of motivation!

I promise it is
worth it
when you turn down
the treat
or not eat that extra helping.
The momentary happiness
that comes from
eating that second cookie
is nothing
compared to the happiness
that comes from
feeling so in control.

If you are trying
to lose weight
or improve your health,
Set some goals
find a friend to be your accountability partner
do not give up!
There is
strength in sharing.
I have so often kept my weight loss secret
because I didn’t want to tell
people that I had
gone off track and eaten 5 cookies.
I was ashamed.
We all struggle.
No one is perfect.
We need to support each other!
Shout it from the rooftops!
And if we make mistakes,
that is okay,
we try again!
Because we are worth it!!

i will

i am strong

i can take time for me, that is okay
i am beautiful, inside and out
i CAN find time to eat a healthy balanced diet
i am not less of a person if my house is messy
i can do anything i put my mind to

Awesome progress! Dedication pays off and staying focused. Congrats on your progress!
