Follow Me Friday! Week 9 Weigh In

Week 9
I get nervous every single week
before weigh in.
Even when I have been super exact 
in my eating and exercise
I worry.

This week I lost 1.1 lbs.
That is my lowest lost so far
but I will not let that discourage me.
A loss is still awesome.
What I will do is 
look back on my week and think
about my choices. 
I probably had more salt than I have 
in the past few weeks.
Increased salt causes increased water retention
which can throw off your results.
Also, women have to remember
that about every 4 weeks
your hormones are going to make your 
body go a little wacky.
Those hormone changes have a huge
affect on weight loss for many people.
I am not downplaying my loss at all.
I am super excited to be in the 170’s!
But, I am using this 
as a time to reflect and improve!

What I know!
Losing weight doesn’t bring happiness.
Happiness is something
you need before you start losing weight.
Happiness comes from focusing
on the positive things in our lives.

This is one of my most 
favorite printables. 
I love the saying that
I chose to be happy because
it is good for my health!
That is the truth.
There was just a whole article 
in the Time Life magazine
about postive attitudes and 
the benefits to your health.

I firmly believe that attitude is everything and I love that printable. Good for you for continuing to be positive. Put positive energy into the world and good things happen.
