I’m not gonna lie.
Yesterdays 1.5 lb weight loss
was a bit of a bummer.
I don’t mean to be greedy
but I was hoping for bigger numbers.
I am focusing this week
Exactly following the
instructions of this diet
and making sure that I don’t
eat things that may have a little sugar
or a little oil.
With that being said,
I did my measurements today!
I was astounded!
I lost just barely under 4.5 inches in my waist
3 1/4 inches in my hips
3.5 inches at my bra line
1 3/4 inches from my right thigh!
Those are big numbers.
I had a friend who once said to do measurements
in centimeters cause you can see
bigger changes which is more motivating.
As a NICU nurse we work in centimeters
so I feel very comfortable with that.
Above, I told you in inches
just cause most people understand that.
On the above image,
I also added my measurements from february of 2014.
It is so nice to see such changes.
This is the measurements
that I posted on my blog last year
I was thrilled to see the progress.
All my measurements
except for hips
are smaller at 194.2 lbs
then they were last year at 193.
That may not seem significant.
But it feels victorious!!
i am strong
i can take time for me, that is okay
i am beautiful, inside and out
i CAN find time to eat a healthy balanced diet
i am not less of a person if my house is messy
i can do anything i put my mind to
