I know that shoes can be a large expense
that we often don’t splurge on!
I am here to convince you
that good shoes are an essential part of your workout get-up!
I always try to buy the cheap brand.
And wear them until they are about to die!
But now that I am doing consistent and regular
high intensity jazzercise (dance aerobics)
I have made a commitment to myself
that I always have good shoes.
I was doing a little research on shoes
and found in many places
that you need to get shoes appropriate for your type of workout.
I do jazzercise and you need a good dance aerobics shoe.
If you can’t find dance aerobics get a good cross trainer!
I also learned that your shoes
start to break down after 60 hours of wear
and then should be replaced after 100 hours of wear!
I have been wearing Ryka shoes
for the last year and a half
and I love them.
I recently started to notice issues with my knees, back and ankles.
My sis reminded me that it was time for me to get
new shoes. I had worn them for well over 100 hours.
When the knee pain started, I began to panic!
I can’t have an injury!
I finally have found the motivation and strength
to keep my body moving!
I purchased new Rykas.
After two weeks, my knees are back to being able
to chassé, skip, step jump!
It makes me so happy!
Here is the part where i am a total nerd!
I posted a photo of my shoes on instagram!
I was so excited…by the time i finished my workout,
Ryka had commented on my photo!
I was giddy excited!
I was jumping around and super excited.

Ryka had shared my photo on their instagram feed!
I love their shoes
and I truly love this company.
They realize the power of social media
and the ability to make a person happy
by simply sharing their photo!
Let’s make sure that we
wear good shoes
and protect our bodies from injuries
from wearing worn out
and inappropriate shoes for our sport!

i CAN find time to eat a healthy balanced diet
i am not less of a person if my house is messy
